With this knife series, the name says it all: The Chef's Edition was designed for professional chefs and for all those who want maximum precision when cutting. The idea for the collection came about after a workshop on hand posture and cutting techniques. Because professional chefs hold wide knives between thumb and forefinger at the transition to the bolster - exactly where there is a sharp edge on conventional knives. This knowledge led to the development of cutting tools with smooth transitions between the blade and bolster and on the back of the knife. With no sharp edges, the Chef’s Edition knives nestle perfectly in the hand and effortlessly cut the thickest meat and crisp vegetables. Thanks to the seamless processing of the stainless steel handles, the models are particularly easy to care for and hygienic.
