Description:

A short-stemmed cake stand, mouth blown and scissor cut to produce a plate with a thick, soft rim.

Materials & making:
Mouth blown by skilled glassblowers. The low, wide pillar-stemmed cake stand is scissor cut to achieve the thick rounded rim. The foot is shaped using a wooden tool and applied by hand to the stem.
Care:
Handwash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.
