Through his paintings, an art movement was created that left us one of the most beautiful landscapes in history - Impressionism. Claude Monet (1840-1926) liked to paint outdoors. Like no other, Monet was able to capture the magic of the moment and fix it on canvas forever: the sun's rays play on the shimmering surface of the water, lights and shadows in the foliage of trees or the radiant colors of a summer garden.
